Invest Myanmar Summit 2019 which is designed to provide the opportunity for international and local investorsto discover the investment potential of Myanmarand to create a platform for business to meet high level officials from the Union and Regional Government of Myanmar was held on 28th January, 2019 at the Myanmar International Convention Center 2 in Nay Pyi Taw. It was organized by the support of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER) and under the guidance of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC).

The opening ceremony was started the program with Myanmar Traditional Entertainment.

At the summit, H.E Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the State Counsellor of the Union of Myanmar delivered the Keynote speech. After that, U Zaw Min Win, President of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce (UMFCCI) delivered the Welcome Remarks. 

The   Summit was attended by 1600 participants including H.E Daw Aung San Su Kyi, State Counsellor of the Union of Myanmar, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of State and Region, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Planning and Finance, Deputy Ministers, U Zaw Min Win, President of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), Senior Government Officials from different Ministries, invited guests, foreign and local investors, and media representatives.

In order to promote regional investment opportunities and to attract targeted investors, the discussion titled “State and Region Focus” and “Project Discussion Sessions” are conversed as per agenda.

The second day of the summit will be proceeded as per Agenda.
