The task force of the Working Committee to address the impact of the COVID-19 on the national economy meeting (1/2023), was held in a hybrid manner this morning at the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Yangon Region Office.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Wah Wah Maung, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations who is also the leader of the task force. Members of the task force as well as credit supervisors from states and regions and representatives from the Ministries and Organizations also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, it was discussed the provision of loan amount of 158.4438 billion kyats for 5,990 companies/ enterprises which include the sectors such as agriculture, livestock, manufacturing, restaurant, fisheries, hotels, tourism and micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs), including CMP Enterprises. Success Story Survey will be conducted for monitoring and evaluation process of loan-received companies/ enterprises.

The meeting also discussed collection of loans including interest amount and the preparation of Success Story Survey.
