Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw arrived back Mandalay through Novosibirsk by MAI flight in the morning of 31 January 2024, after attending the 4th session of the Intergovernmental Russia-Myanmar Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, related meetings and Russia EXPO International Forum and Exhibition which were held from 24 to 29 January 2024 respectively in Moscow at the official invitation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
During the visit, Myanmar delegation attended the 4th session of the Intergovernmental Russia-Myanmar Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, related meetings, the meeting with the Fund RC-Investments, and Russia EXPO International Forum and Exhibition. Moreover, the delegation met with Russian technology company, energy company, construction company and zoo company, and cordially exchanged views on investment opportunities, potential of future cooperation in Myanmar.
The delegation was welcomed at the Mandalay International Airport by officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
Together with the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw, the Deputy Minister for Commerce, U Minn Minn, the representatives from the economic associations and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry were accompanied.
