1. The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations will enhance coordination with relevant ministries in assuring facilitation, promotion and protection in accordance with laws for the existing investments in Myanmar as a priority.
2. The formation of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) is underway and the new commission will expedite the approval process of MIC permit/ endorsement for the new investment projects. In addition, the commission will also ensure close cooperation with governmental agencies/ organizations to streamline the process of issuance of required license and permits subsequent to the approval of MIC.
3. In order to resolve difficulties and issues faced by the investors in their business operations, a taskforce will be set up to take prompt actions.
4. After the setting up of MIC, States and Regional Investment Committees will be formed in an immediate manner to render the necessary assistance to investors.
5. It is also notified that Myanmar will continue to implement the commitments as agreed in the regional and sub-regional economic integration such as ASEAN, GMS and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
