Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Aung Naing Oo met with the Chairman and members of Kachin State Administration Council and Kachin State Investment Committee members at Malikha’s meeting room of the office of Kachin State Administration Council in the morning of 14th June 2021.
At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed the investment promotion and facilitation matters to promote the State economy in accordance with the Myanmar Investment Law, rules and regulations, and urged the State Committee to monitor and provide necessary assistances to the existing investment and to attract the new investment for job creation and income generation for local people. He also encouraged to facilitate the citizen investment in manufacturing and service sectors by creating investor friendly environment.
After that, the Chairman of Kachin State Administration Council and the Chairman of State Investment Committee , U Hkyet Hting Nan updated the current investment activities undertaken by Committee and the future investment plan. Then, the State Committee members discussed the investment promotion and related issues and the Union Minister coordinated the investment matters.
In his inspection tour, the Union Minister inspected the Logistics services of KEP Logistics Co., Ltd at WaiMaw Township, Kachin State on June 13th2021. U Yi Li Mee, Executive Director of Kachin Entrepreneurs’ Public Co., Ltd and Daw Emma Ja Brim, Executive Director of KEP Logistics Co., Ltd presented the current investment activities and future plan of the company, and the Union Minister coordinated and facilitated the business for the smooth operation of the company’s logistics services.
The Union Minister and the Chairman of State Administrative Council, U Hkyet Hting Nan also met with the Ethnic Entrepreneur Association in the morning of 14th June 2021, and coordinated the trade and investment promotion and facilitation matters.
In the evening, the Union Minister visited to Clean Power Energy Co.,Ltd at Thapyewa Village Tract, Thazi Township, Mandalay Region and inspected the generation and distribution of 30 MW Solar Power Plant.
