The Myanmar Delegation led by Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and National Security Advisor U Thaung Tun attended the 55th Munich Security Conference held in Munich, Germany, 15-17 February 2019.
Thirty-five Heads of State and Government and 80 Ministers were among the 600 participants who attended the conference.
The Munich Security Conference is a forum held annually to promote dialogue between world leaders, policy makers and security experts.
While in Germany, the Union Minister conducted a briefing on the new investment climate and opportunities in Myanmar at the Headquarter of the KfW Banking Group in Frankfurt.
The Union Minister and delegation arrived back Yangon on 19 February 2019.
