1.     Myanmar and Finland established the diplomatic relations in 22nd July, 1954.

2. Finland-Myanmar Development Cooperation Strategy (2015-2024) has been implemented since January 2015.

3.  According to the Cooperation Strategy, Finland has supported to Myanmar development focusing in the areas of Democratic Governance and Rule of Law, Natural resource and Environmental Governance and Education through the non-government organizations.
