Diplomatic Relations between Myanmar and Poland
1. Myanmar and Poland established the diplomatic relations in 11th November, 1955.
Projects with Poland
2. To implement the activities of fire rescue and safety, the loan agreement with the amount of euro 50 million between Embassy of Poland and Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry (Former, Ministry of Planning and Finance) signed on 4th November 2017. By this loan, (75) vehicles including (9) vehicles for fire rescues and safety were purchased and it has applied in fire rescuing and safety, earthquake and landslide, and removing biochemical, radiation, nuclear and hazardous wastes for each states and regions.
3. Yangon City Development Committee has prepared to sign the loan agreement for Modern Waste to Biogas Project in Yangon which is supported by euro 50 million from Poland’s Official Development Assistance since the approval of Parliament on 31st January, 2020.
