The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER), the aiming to develop human resources and improve staff member’s capacity, conducted the 45thceremony of Friday Talk of Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) at the Office No (1), Nay Pyi Taw. MIFER’s Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw attended and delivered the opening remarks.

The Union Minister pointed out that there are many topics such as local, regional and  international affairs in daily KSP program are discussed with the aim to get not only local knowledge but also foreign experience, today’s topic is “A study on Public Private Partnership application of infrastructure investment in Mandalay Division, these discussion points need to understand for all MIFER’ staffs. He highlighted that Mandalay Division locates economically and have investment opportunities, this Division is ranked No 5 in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and No 2 in Myanmar Citizens Investment (MCI). Moreover, there are economic infrastructure and the opportunities for investment in Mandalay Division. The Union Minister expressed that three types of economic models such as governmental lead economic integration model, Public - Private Partnership economic model and Private economic integration model are implementing harmoniously and he urged all participants to take part actively in the discussion.

Daw M Tsawm Hkawm, Deputy Director of Directorate of Investment Company Administration Department “A study on Public Private Partnership application of infrastructure investment in Mandalay Division”. After that, the Deputy Minster and the attendees were openly discussed the matters related to the Public Private Partnership- PPP.

After that, 77th Pre- Union Day 2024 traditional food festival was held at Office No (1) and attended by the Union Minster and officials in this evening, they have happily and unity the traditional foods together with all MIFER’ staffs.

The Deputy Minister, Union Attorney, Director General including all official staffs nearly 300 persons actively participate this ceremony.
