Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, the aiming to develop the human resources and to improve the capacity of staffs, the 28th ceremony of Friday Talk of Knowledge Sharing Program - KSP was held at the Office No (1), Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon of 1 September 2023. Dr. Kan Zaw, the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations attended and delivered the opening speech.

The Union Minister emphasized that it is a topic of “Poverty Reduction Program in China and Developing Countries” is required to understand all staffs to apply in their respective fields. He also explained that the consistency of policies and continuous policy implementation for rural development and poverty reduction are main important factors and highlighted the State Administration Council currently has laid down the policy priority for socio- economic development of the country. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the important of labor, capital, and agricultural inputs also Total Factor Productivity-TFP for sustainable agriculture development of the country. The Union Minister highlighted that the lessons, experiences and challenges of rural development from China and Developing Countries are crucial points for future country’s socio- economic development so that he encouraged the staffs to actively participate and frankly discuss the today’s Talk. 

Daw Zār Li Nwe, Deputy Director from Union Minister’s Office presented the topic with the title “Poverty Reduction Program for Developing Countries” that was gained from seminar which was supported by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) Program of the People’s Republic of China. After that, the attendees do make questions and openly discussion.

This ceremony was also attended by Deputy Minister and including nearly 120 persons of senior officials and relevant officials from the States and Regions by hybrid system.
