The opening Ceremony of the 4th Capacity Building Training (4/2023) of Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations was held at the Office No. (1) of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations today afternoon. The Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw attended and gave an opening remarks.  

In his opening remarks, Union Minister, Dr. Kan Zaw pointed out that the trainings have been delivered for the improvement of human resource development and enhancing the capacity and capability of the MIFER’s staffs to enable their office work quickly and easily. He underlined that the trainings were delivered for 3 times both in person and online, and at present, total 195 trainees of MIFER’s staffs officer level and lower level- staffs were successfully completed. Moreover, he emphasised that the training focuses not only the subjects related to MIFER but also the subjects from other related ministries were taught and, he described that all staffs must know about the related subjects of the whole ministry and, focuses topic of the training are: the whole  ministry’s objectives, Responsibilities and Implementation situations of the ministry, Management, Good Governance, Union Civil Service Law and Regulations, Office Writing and Office Work Manual, International Law, Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities, Public Finance Management (PFM), Auditing and Preparation for Examination, Myanmar Company Law , Myanmar Investment Law and Regulations , International Investment Agreement (IIAs), Investment Liberalization , Investment Protection , Investment Promotion and  Investment Facilitation, FDI in Myanmar, Trade related notifications of WTO and UNCTAD, Insolvency Law and Regulations, Cooperation with UN and International Organizations. At last, The Union Minister urged the staffs need to follow the rules and regulations of the training and, able to apply qualified awareness and knowledge of the training with creativity in practical field and, follow the civil service rules properly to become the successful civil servants.

The opening Ceremony of the Capacity Building Training (4/2023) was attended by the Deputy Minister, Director General and nearly 120 persons of senior officials and staffs from ministry by in person and online system.

          The training will be taught from 5 October to 10 November 10, 2023 and, the next training will be hold continuously.
