Aiming to review the process of the departments’ functions and to systematically implement the ministry’s policy, vision and mission, the Third Coordination Meeting (3/2023) and Fifth Anniversary of MIFER was held today at the office No (1), Nay Pyi Taw. Dr. Kan Zaw, the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations attended and delivered the opening remarks.

During the meeting, Dr. Wah Wah Maung, the Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations explained the current status of the Ministry. Afterwards, Director Generals from Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and Foreign Economic Relations Department (FERD) made the presentation regarding the departmental functions and the Directors of the DICA from Regions and States offices also presented the current investment matters and the Union Minister gave the guidance of the necessary actions.  

At the evening, the Union Minister awarded the best employee awards and the best performance awards for division from Ministry. The Deputy Minister and Director Generals from DICA and FERD gave awards regarding the best discipline divisions, the best cleanliness divisions, the best green conservation divisions and the employee who won awards in the courses of Civil Services Academy (CSA) from Lower and Upper Myanmar respectively.    

The Deputy Minister, Director Generals from DICA and FERD, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Deputy Director Generals, Directors from the Regions and States offices and the officials from the Ministry also attended.
