The Closing Ceremony of the Capacity Building Training (4/2023) of Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER) was held at the Office No. (1) Nay Pyi Taw on today’s morning. The Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Kan Zaw attended and gave the closing remarks.  

In his closing remarks, Union Minister, Dr. Kan Zaw pointed out that the human resources development of the government staffs plays a pivotal role of the multi-functional development of the country. He highlighted that the capacity building program was held with the aim to develop the personality and capability of staffs, and staff officers and the upper-level staffs of MIFER were taught by this training. Moreover, He underscored that the ministry is undertaking the country’s investment matters, supervising the local and foreign companies and economic cooperation, and all staffs need to measure with capability, capacity and disciplined self-management to do the best in tasks. He also emphasized that all trainees try to get knowledge and learn for sustainable development as well as to apply in practical field, and by systematically working together, all staffs can support for the rapid administrative mechanism and can be the big support in building the full disciplined nation. Finally, he urged all staffs to be a dutiful government staff by following the rules and regulations of civil servant.

During the ceremony, the Union Minister awarded the first prize, the second prize, the third prize and the best group presentation prize, and gave the completion certificates to the trainees. After that, on behalf of all trainees, one trainer made thankful remarks.

The Management, Good Governance, Union Civil Service Law and Regulations, Office Writing and Office Work Manual, International Law, Myanmar Company Law, Myanmar Investment Law and Regulations, International Investment Agreement (IIAs), Investment Liberalization , Investment Protection , Investment Promotion and  Investment Facilitation, FDI in Myanmar, Trade related notifications of WTO and UNCTAD, Insolvency Law and Regulations, Cooperation with UN and International Organizations, legal matters, Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities, Public Finance Management (PFM), Auditing and Preparation for Examination were lectured by the senior officials of MIFER and the specialists from the other ministries and total 38 trainees were attended this training by in person and online system. 

The Closing Ceremony of the Capacity Building Training (4/2023) was attended by the senior officials, Director General and nearly 80 persons from the ministry by hybrid system. Up to No. 4/2023 training courses, 195 trainees were completed and the next training will be hold continuously in 2024.
