The signing ceremony for the Extension to the Memorandum of Understanding concerning Development Cooperation between the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Department of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway was held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Nay Pyi Taw in 12:30 pm.

The ceremony was attended by Permanent Secretary U Aung Naing Oo and officials from Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, State Secretary H.E. Ms. Marianne Hagen, Ambassador H.E. Ms. Tone Tinnes and officials from Norwegian Embassy.

The Extension of MoU for Development Cooperation was signed by Permanent Secretary U Aung Naing Oo, Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and State Secretary Ms. Marianne Hagen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The MoU will support the projects on Myanmar-Norway development cooperation and will particularly contribute to peace, development and democratization of Myanmar.
