Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Thaung Tun, received Mr. Paul Scully MP, the British Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Myanmar, Thailand and Brunei at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw. The British Prime Minister's Trade Envoy was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Dan Chugg, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Myanmar.

The Union Minister and the United Kingdom Trade Envoy discussed matters relating to the promotion of bilateral trade and investment relations between Myanmar and the United Kingdom.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister and senior officials of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
