U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received H.E. Ms. Andrea Faulkner, Australia Ambassador to Myanmar today in Nay Pyi Taw via Video Conferencing.

They discussed development cooperation programmes provided by the Australian Government as well as the promotion of further investments by Australian companies in various sectors including the energy and mining sectors.

The meeting was also attended by U Than Aung Kyaw, Director General, Foreign Economic Relations Department, senior officials of the Australia Embassy in Yangon and private sector representatives from Australia.
