Nay Pyi Taw – January 20

U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received Mr. Sherif Salah Eldin Elleithy, the newly-accredited Ambassador of Egypt to Myanmar on today 10:00 am in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the Union Minister welcomed and congratulated the Ambassador for being appointed as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Then, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the strengthening of bilateral relations, enhancing to cooperate in agriculture, culture, technical and vocational education as well as tourism sector.

The meeting was also joined by U Than Aung Kyaw, Director General, Foreign Economic Relations Department and Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
