Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Myanmar’s High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration Lead (HLTF-EI Lead), Dr. Wah Wah Maung , led the consultation of the 43rd High -Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration Meeting’s follow up matters which was held at the office No. (1) Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations on 4 April 2023.
During the consultation, Myanmar’s HLTF-EI Lead shared the Development of AEC Post 2025 Vision, the development of ASEAN Blue Economy Framework which is one of the Priority Economic Deliverables of Indonesia’s Chairmanship, the implementation of Circular Economy Framework, the development of the ASEAN Strategy for Carbon Neutrality , the development of ASEAN Digital Framework and the Post 2025 Vision Statement which was discussed at the 43rd High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration Meeting held from 1 to 3 March 2023, island of Belitung, Indonesia.
Then, the participants shared their work regarding
the Myanmar’s implementation of the regional initiatives. The representatives
from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Planning and Finance,
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Ministry of Natural
Resources and Environmental Conservation, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of
Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and
Technology, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and
Industry and Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association participated at the
consultation.
