Dr. Wah Wah Maung, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received Mr. Ashish Sharma, Deputy Chief of Mission from the Embassy of India at Office No (1), Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations at this morning.

          During the meeting, they had a friendly and open discussion on the smooth implementation of Quick Impact Projects (QIP), not exceeding US$ 50,000 per project, Small Development Projects (SDP), not exceeding US$ 2 million per project and other Myanmar-India cooperate grant projects between the Government of the Republic of Myanmar and the Government of the Republic of India. Moreover, matters for the formation of the Joint Project Monitoring Committee (JPMC) with representatives from both sides and matters on  standard MoU format in order to make  easier and faster for signing  the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

          Senior Officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and reprsentatives from the Embassy of India also attended.
