UNION ministers, deputy ministers and their wives cast their advance ballots for the Hluttaw candidates who will contest from Zabuthiri Constituency in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Thaung Tun and wife Daw Sanda Lwin, Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint and wife Daw Khaing Nwe Oo, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and wife Daw Myint Myint Yi, Union Minister for Education Dr Myo Thein Gyi and wife Daw San San Yu, Union Minister for Construction U Han Zaw and wife Daw Thwin Thwin Ayehmi, Deputy Ministers U Bharat Singh, U Aung Hla Tun, U Hla Kyaw, U Aung Htoo, U Hla Maw Oo, Deputy Attorney-General U Win Myint and their wives, abiding by COVID-19 guidelines, signed the voting record register and cast their advance votes at the Zeyatheikdhi Ward Election Sub-commission Of- fice at the Myoma Zay Dhamma Hall in Zabuthiri Township.

Permanent Secretaries, departmental heads and the elderly aged 60 and above also cast votes at the Election Sub-commission Office of Zeyatheikdhi Ward in Zabuthiri Township.

At the three polling stations of the Zeyatheikdhi Ward Election Sub-commission Office in Zabuthiri Township, 2,137 voters cast ballots at Polling Station 1; 2,225 voters at Polling Station 2 and 2,134 voters at Polling Station 3. Advance voters also cast their ballots at the polling sta- tions in Zabuthiri Township, Dekkhinathiri Township, Pyinmana Township and Lewe Township.

There are 89,816 eligible voters in Zabuthiri Township, 28,167 in Dekkhinathiri Town- ship, 134,603 in Pyinmana Township and 218,671 in Lewe Township.—MNA
