U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received H.E. Mr. Dan Chugg, British Ambassador to Myanmar on today in Nay Pyi Taw via Video Conferencing.
During the meeting, the Union Minister shared the information on the updated status of the implementation of COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan (CERP). The Union Minister also stressed government efforts on developing the Myanmar Economic Resilience and Reform Plan beyond COVID-19 which is to compliment the implementation of Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP) as the long term perspective.
They also exchanged views to promote the cooperation on Myanmar’s agricultural products to meet the quality and standard of UK’s market. In addition, they discussed promotion of investment in the areas of Education and Renewable Energy.
The meeting was participated by U Than Aung Kyaw, Director General, Foreign Economic Relations Department and the Trade and Development Directors and Advisors from British Embassy.
