Nay Pyi Taw, January 20

U Thaung Tun, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations received Mr. Thomas Laszlo Vajda, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on today 11:30 am in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the promotion of socio-economic development cooperation between the two countries and existing development projects being implemented by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Myanmar with the assistance of the United States Government. They also discussed the matters relating to the enchancing of responsible investment in Myanmar.  

Director General for Foreign Economic Relations Department U Than Aung Kyaw and senior officials were also present at the call.
